Aroma Dessert Albany is a modern Chinese dessert space that reinterprets nostalgic street-side memories through a contemporary lens.

The design draws inspiration from the client’s childhood experiences of traditional dessert shops, translating familiar elements into a refined and spatially cohesive interior. Subtle references to street culture are integrated through materiality, detailing, and spatial layering, creating a sense of warmth and familiarity without becoming literal.

A modern Chinese aesthetic is expressed through a balanced use of textures, tones, and clean geometries, bridging past and present. The space is designed to feel inviting and emotionally resonant, allowing customers to reconnect with a sense of memory while enjoying a refreshed dining experience.
